In Absentia

The pictures existed since quite a long time. One day the link between them became evident, the absence, something was missing.

Through these images, the thread of time wove a complex narrative. Then, one day, the evident truth imposed itself cruelly: the absence, not of bodies, but of souls. These beings, still present physically, had faded away. Their gazes, once reflections of intimacy, wandered into another world, slowly erasing all traces of recognition. These photographs, once witnesses to captured moments, revealed nothing more than the imprint of a presence fading away.
