Figures of a World in Suspension observes the subtle signs of a fragile world, where social, political, and ecological balances quietly falter, giving rise to a pervasive sense of unease.

Unheimlichkeit

or

“Figures d’un monde en sursis”

Unheimlichkeit unfolds within a world on borrowed time.

Developed in dialogue with philosopher Claude Molzino, the photographs capture fragments of a present already marked by its own end — a time suspended between persistence and collapse. Beyond the threats of nuclearization or ecological exhaustion, they reflect a deeper unease: the sense that our era is living under the constant shadow of its disappearance.

Photography here does not explain or denounce. It reveals a fragile reprieve — a moment in which being still persists, while knowing it may not endure.
